Galileo 400
Galileo is often cited as being the father of modern science. He is the first person to document Jupiter's moons, sunspots, and the phases of Venus. Further,
he arguably reforged scientific inquiry to
include a framework of observation,
analysis, and persuasion.
This letterbox microcache is
dedicated to the 400th year
celebration of Galileo turning
his aided eye to the night
sky in 1609.
Here’s a little poetry
inspired by my love of the
dark night sky, four moons
of which may lead you to your
own awe inspiring discovery.
